Haber d´ehre.. In diesem Sinne, hail the hords, hail Falkenbach

For me, Gjallar sounds like a mixture of "When Gjallarhorn Will Sound" and "Towards the Hall of Bronzen Shields", two of my favourite Songs on Magni Blandinn Ok Megintiri and either in general.

Vratyas, sorry for this question, but in how many years you think the next great falkenbach album is produced? The very thought to must wait another 7 Years ;-) is too scary... Sorry for my bad f**king english, i try to write it for the other forum users....

Wieder mal ein hohes Kunstwerk! Weiter so!! Hell yeah!!!! True heathen art! I think "Heralder" became my new favourite Falkenbach song. For me this one is the totally majestic crown of all music which Vratyas has made until now. Congratulations to your new album!!

Sorry for my bad f**king english, i try to write it for the other forum users.... Bisher was jedes Album ein Kracher!

I have to say, I believe this is my favourite Falkenbach album to date. There is a new review of the album online now at Metalmonk UK.

Great CD. I'm currently writing a review too, but in German^^ It will be released on www.metal-lunatics.de (a small Webzine, I've already wrote a review for "Ok Nefna" for this site) I'll post it also here.

-kb

I think it was a good idea especially mixing a violin in the song, sounds excellent.

In my eyes, the best Falkenbach-product to date. I like the songs on the other albums equally (I think Vratyas is unable to write bad songs ;-) ), but the production of "Heralding..." is much better. I always thought the vocals were a bit in the background and needed a litle "kick", now they recieved that on the "Heralding..."-album and I'm very glad about that :-) "Havamal" is my absolute favorite track off the CD, I could listen to this all day ^^

This album is sort of a mix between different aspects of Falkenbach, ranging from fast paced and aggressive tunes to slow and calm ones. It is possibly a bit incoherent, though that does not trouble but, each and every song being excellent and remarkable as we are used to when it comes to Falkenbach.
Heathen Foray It's faster than the old one and in my opinion better in many respects, especially when vocals are concerned. I see no better way to kick this album going than this song.
Of Forests Unknown It's clearly more in line with older records and no clean vocal are here to be found. Aggressive, dark: I like it
Havamal It's a beautiful song with great vocals. It has this very calm and sort of ageless atmosphere.
Roman Land This song is one of my favourites in this album. Harsh vocals and fast pace are back after Havamal's calmer approach. Great guitars on this album. The spoken piece is excellent, sending shivers to my spine every time I hear it.
Heralder This song could have been in Magni blandinn... ,which is one the greatest praises a song can have in my opinion. This distinctive Falkenbach melody has very strong presence here and I love it. Excellent keys, great lyrics, What an atmosphere. This is definitely one of the highlights of this album.
Laeknishendr This song apparently dates back to early days of Falkenbach. It kicks in with very aggressive, black metal like approach and then proceeds to create one of the greatest moments in this album. Keys are out of this world.
Walkiesjar Starts with an excellent percussion intro which perfectly sets the atmosphere for this album. I love the choir.
Skirnir Clean vocals are back again as are spoken parts. Excellent piece of music.
Gjallar I was expecting a song starting traditionally with a horn blow and here it is! I have trouble forming my opinion of this song, since I tend to think of what it could have been instead of what it is. It's an instrumental piece and a great one at that but I still wish it had vocals like it was supposed to have.

Yes, as always there will be a LP-version, too. At the moment it´s not sure who will release it. As soon as we know who will release it and when, you will find a short note here at the forum.
