Hey, I haven't been on this forum for a couple of years now. I just had a nice phone call with one of my few, good friends. He actually called me because he had a question about Falkenbach. We realized that Falkenbach is one of the few bands which we still listen to regualry. And I do not thing that this will change throughout our lives. However, this time his question was not about the music - it was about Vratyas. He asked me why Falkenbach never gives concerts and why there is almost no information about the person behind it. I told him that - as far as I remember - Vratyas only concentrated on the music and that he does not believe in personality cults (Markus: Bitte korrigiere mich, wenn ich mich irre ). The discussion continued for quite a while and we were quite impressed about the fact, that all those years Falkenbach is still about the music - not the person. This is something which is almost completely lost these days - if it even was ever there. Who is still active here? Are there people from the time where "forums" were the main thing to interact on in the internet ? I saw, that Vratyas is still active here. This is very impressive. Enjoy the summer! -kb

Hey! As you can see, in times of Facebook etc, it became quite silent here. Nevertheless, this forum is still opened for those who wish to use it.
It´s always nice to see when people from the earlier times return here, but same goes for new people, who simply prefer a forum over Facebook etc.

Yes, on Facebook is more convenient to follow the news, but still sometimes I come here. Forums - it's cool! Forums - this is the archive of message, thoughts and discussions. It is interesting. And of course, every time, I hope see news about the new album/ the announcement of concerts/ disclosure of secrets of Vartias / re-issue albums and demos / and something else. Falkenbach - one of the best bands in the world! Best regards from Russia!

I wasn't active in this forum for a longer time, too. Very nice that it is still online! Are the band news here up to date or do I have to look at Facebook page? And, to Vratyas, if there are News will you post them both here and FB? Greetings to all the 'old' ones still active here!

It seems that there were almost no activity in 2018 and possibly none at all in 2019.
The last time I contacted him was just more than a year ago regarding future musical albums from you. I contacted you via FB and so far you have stated that Falkenbach is less than a "part-time" project, and it took years to make 45 or so minutes of music on a full-length album.
Do you consider the Falkenbach project to be on-hold, unknown, or split-up? So far, it is still listed as Active on the metal archives (in which I have contributed to). This was the first ever extreme-metal artist I have ever listened to and possibly led me to contributing on Metal Archives once I've read more about "viking metal"

Greetings, garwulf! No, it's not me. ( In Russia there are other Falkenbach fans besides me).

Seems pretty quiet around here... I remember to have checked this forum on a regular basis back then. In the meantime I attended the prophecy fest 3 times, hoping for some kind of Falkenbach surprise and wondering if Vratyas was there too – hidden anonymously in the crowd My tastes in music may have changed over time, but Falkenbach remains a constant as does this forum somehow. It has been 7 years since Asa and I would love to hear new music. Cheers to whoever reads this in f*cking 2020.

truemmer I welcome you! I am very glad that I am not the only one who still remembers this glorious forum! I don't know anything about plans for a new album! (Also very much waiting!) But I know that the label Prophecy Productions is planning to release a box-set of Falkenbach albums before the end of this year! Title is "the Nine Worlds of Falkenbach". I hope this information will be useful to you. All the best to you and all the fans!

Hey there, Lucifer.
Thanks for the info about the box set. It went up for pre-order a few days ago and it will be out Nov 27th. But you probably know that already. I am happy to see some signs of life from Falkenbach.

I am surprised that Falkenbach is still alive and well. The last time I messaged to Falkenbach via messenger was sometime around March 2020. And after noticing the boxset I placed that entry into the Metal Archives.
