this was the first cd i got from falkenbach, and it blew me away. it was probably my first true viking metal cd as well, so this cd is special to me for introducing me to the genre.

Btw each Falkenbach's cd gets a very special place in the heart of every true metalhead...they make mine pounding even louder.

The song which I listened first from Falkenbach is on this CD. It's the amazing song "...When Gjallarhorn Will Sound...". I heard it over an internet radio and was immediately caught by the melodies! On the next day, I run to the next music store and ordered the CD. A masterpiece!

Magni Blandinn Ok Megintiri is my favourite Falkenbach album! It has my favourite Falkenbach song: "...Where Blood Will Soon Be Shed" and also the first Falkenbach song i heard: "Baldurs Tod" which made me have an instant orgasm and fall in love with the band.
Appart from the music itself, the lyrics are great, i never get sick of reading them along with the music. And of course there is fantastic artwork in the booklet.

I listend to "When Gjallarhorn will sound" on the radio and i loved it. I felt the same way like macey, Falkenbach give me a really special feeling i cant't explain! But this was the date of birth of listening to Falkenbach.
I ve a question: Who did the drummer parts on Magni Blandinn Ok Megintiri? Especially at "When Gjallarhorn will sound"

Exactly. Except for the last album "Ok nefna tysvar ty" on all Falkenbach songs a DC did the drums. The sound is the one of a real drum, but programmed of course.

After falling in love with "Heathenpride", I bought the Magni.. album, and it completely changed the way I think about music, not just listening but especially composing songs for my Folk/Viking project Nifelhel. Just like Bathory's "Hammerheart", Magni... is a very defining and perspective-changing album to me. Hail to Vratyas!

Magni Blandinn Ok Megintiri was my second CD from Falkenbach. It is an amazing masterpiece (like the other albums).

ok ... i can't listen this album because almoust every song has that "slow" person talkin' part, not in the first song and i say that that song rocks a lot! and i say this too that the songs "towards the hall..." and "walhall" would had been better/master pieces without these talking parts...
still...

I like the "talking parts" too, but I don't really like the pitched down voice. If they had always be done like in "Heralding" at the end, it would have been perfect for my ears ;-) But that's a matter of taste and thus indiscussable.
