Maybe Furthest Shore is somehow at least similar to Bathory, allthough Falkenbach and Bathory do not have too much in common musicwise in my opinion anyway.

Yet, when you listen to albums like Hammerheart or Blood on ice, echoes can be found in falkenbach! Which bands would you consider similar to Falkenbach?

Dear Porir, I don't think that exists a "similar" band. As far, non reached, not even a little the "whole part" which Falkenbach creates. That's why I used and use to call Falkenbach unique band. I always talk in personal opinion...!

I have to agree with Hildr Valkyrie, the music in Falkenbach is deffinetly unique. That being said though, there deffinetly is alot of other bands who have similar musical styles but I'm yet to find one that manages to bring up the emotians in me and create the pictures in my head that Falkenbach manages to do.
Also on that note I'd like to say that Falkenbachs lyrics are also unique, alot of other bands these days seem to be writing about "paganism" and related subjects but alot of them tend to be dull storeys with no real emotians behind them. The storeys and lyrics are simply amazing, and like i said before, create pictures and scenes in my head that no other song, book or movie have done for me, not to mention the amount of knowledge that can be gained from reading and listening to the lyrics, hail Vratyas!

The music of Fjoergyn is not similar to Falkenbach, but inspired by it.

I think you can't compare a band like Falkenbach! It's unique! Like many of you said.
There are just bands who seems to be inspired by Vratyas. Rivendell, for example... I think.
I read a article about a One-Woman-Band named "Carved in Stone" but i finally didn't hear her until yet. Know's anyone her?

I really like the music but I would not say that the music sounds similar to Falkenbach. Carved in Stone is unique (like Falkenbach).

Carved In Stone is so far the best one-woman band I've ever heard. This woman also plays in Taunusheim, but can't be compared with Falkenbach at all. The song Last Words is for sure a track I would like have on my funeral. www.carvedinstone.deThe hole album is great. My favourite song is "Warrior And Man".

Oh the band is really great!
I found the album at a small store here in town! I'm fascinated!
You are all right, it's great music but it isn't similar to Falkenbach.

I have heard that Nordvykk (Nordland debut album, 2004) is similar or ispirated to Falkenbach.

Sollte man mal ansehen bzw. hören. --An Gezeitenfürst: Die haben auch im Asgard gespielt --
