The second album from Falkenbach I bought! It takes second place to the successors not at all! Espacially Heathenpride is really brilliant! Of the topic as well as of the melody! The melodies trigger a goose-flesh with me every time!

Yeah, I like this album very much. Maybe favourite song is "heathenpride". Can someone tell me something about the cover? My first thought was "valkyries", but I'm doubtful of the correctness.

Well, as for me, Winternight is one of the best Falkenbach songs ever. Strong and straight.

It's really a pity, that american people have so much problems with buying metal-cd's.. I just had to go to my favourite record store and found "En Their Medh Riki Fara" immediately..

Well, I can bet that there are only a few countries in the world where situation with licensed metal CDs is worse than in Russia...

"En Their Medh Riki Fara" I could never thoroughly enjoy as much as I could enjoy "Ok Nefna Tysvar Ty", "Heralding - The Fireblade" or even the "Laeknishendr" demo, the same is a fact concerning the "Magni Blandinn Ok Megintiri" album: The demotape had such an unbelievably harsh and glorious atmosphere, and contains the greatest version of "Laeknishendr" aswell as the beautiful "Ásaland", but I fail to see the logic progression between it and the debut album: Except "Laeknishendr", and partly "Heathenpride" and "Galdralag", it fails to bring the atmosphere and emotional enjoyment the demo had, seems more conventionalized and tamed; and the production is often annoying, I feel.
It has its striding and furious moments, though, and I'd never want to get rid of it, but still it ranks as my least favourite Falkenbach album, the same as "Magni Blandinn Ok Megintiri".

This album is the least strong of Falkenbach's releases in my opinion, although the song Heathenpride was the track that got me into Falkenbach - it is truly a masterpiece. Some of the songs suffer from a lack of the epic Falkenbach sound which I came to love and familiarise by listening to Magni Blandinn.. and Ok Nefna..
But overall, still a great album!

On the "En Their Medh Riki Fara" album I like "Winternight" most, but "Laeknishendr" is also a very nice song, especially because it also appears on the "Heralding" album

I actually prefer the En their medh.. version of Laeknishendr because the lyrics are sung clean the second time in the song, even though the Heralding.. version has improved music quality.
