I don't know whether if it's a good idea to start this topic here and it might be not related to Falkenbach... I want to ask the forum users to mention 5 songs which they want people to listen on their funeral. Perhaps everyone thought about a specific song from any band before, and maybe even a song of Falkenbach. I'm always curious about some songs I've never heard before.

Lycanthropys Spell - The Last LS Song This is the more psychical Suicide i think.
Beleth - Bleeding in Suizide Yes, cutting all and everything and bleeding until the last drop of Blood.
Satyricon - Mother North No Comment, the Melody and Lyrics just make me feel more attracted to something like suicide..
Eisregen - Bl*** blau* Li***n This goes out to my great love, if you die I will follow you.
Morrigan - Straight War This would be my song to die when i would have finished running amok and there would be spilling blood around everywhere, just the cliche - Style.

A truly interesting and of speculation worthy question. - Although besides the "definite" Blazing Eternity's "Cover Me With Your Eyes" I cannot certainly decide second or third songs: Bathory's "One Rode to Asa Bay" comes to mind, Falkenbach's "Farewell...", Empyrium's "Kein Hirtenfeuer glimmt mehr" or "Fortgang", Pelican's "NightEndDay" and so on... And whichever songs it'd be, they should've hope and hopeful beauty, and pride inherent.
And, in a silly mood, Megiddo's "The Oath" and Reverend Bizarre's "Doom Over the World", haha.

I know it's too much autocelebrative to your eyes but 'twould nice for all my friends to listen' to such songs the day I will be burned. These songs talk 'bout the end of different kind of lives...therefore they would fit very well. I can't wait to die hehe
Morgan the bard - Fare thee well - Aderleen the dragon Morgan the bard - Tears of an olden dwarf Morgan the bard - Song of the last skald

Then I'll write 5, too.
Blind Guardian - A Past & Future Secret (or Bard's Song)
Nightwish - Lappi (Lapland) pt. 3: This moment is eternity
In Extremo - Unter dem Meer
Falkenbach - Farewell
Amon Amarth - Death In Fire (the people should not be bored by too much ballads, even on a funeral^^)
hmm...even 5 are too few. My funeral shall be the greatest metal party in the world!

Let's see what comes to my mind...
1. Anathema - Angelica Great song, feels like a layer of melancholy that lays itself all over you. 2. My Dying Bride - For My Fallen Angel Another sad and slow one, just a violin and a very low and depressing voice with great lyrics. 3. Orphaned Land - The Beloveds Cry An acoustic guitar, some synthie samples and the male voice, in parts emphasized by a female voice. At the End a guitar solo which brings shivers over me. 4. Anathema - Are You There? One of the most intense songs I know, so definitely one of the songs I'd like the people on my funeral to hear. 5. Simon And Garfunkel - The Sound Of Silence Awesome classic, a song that nearly everyone knows (at least I hope so).
